MENTOR 27: Chris Malone "The Human Brand"

Chris Malone was a presenter at the Crown Council’s 21st Annual Event in Salt Lake City.  His message on The Human Brand was so compelling we decided to release it as a Mentor of the Month presentation.  In the digital age where there is such a great temptation to only communicate electronically, Chris talks about keeping the human face on your practice.  
He has worked with hundreds of senior executives in organizations ranging from Fortune 500 companies to start-ups and non-profits.  He was chief marketing officer at Choice Hotels International and has held senior marketing and sales positions at leading organizations including the Coca-Cola Company, the National Basketball Association and Procter & Gamble.  He is the Crown Council Mentor of the Month.

Dr. Brené Brown is a research professor at the University ofHouston Graduate College of Social Work. She has spent the past thirteen years studying vulnerability, courage, worthiness,and shame.

MENTOR 25: Dr. Woody Oaks "20 Things That Made Me A Better Dentist"

Dr. Woody Oakes has written 17 books – within the field of dentistry – along with two novels (both bestsellers on Amazon)  and lectured all acrossthe United States and Canada. Woody is also one ofthe most prolific dental copywriters ever... his sales letters have sold an estimated $36M of products! Hefounded “Excellence in Dentistry, Inc.” in 1987 and isconsistently listed in major dental publications as one of the top clinicians in North America. He’s been agreat friend to the members of the Crown Council for over two decades and is our Mentor of the Month. 

MENTOR 24: Bryant Truitt "Protect Your Practice Assets"

CEO Bryant Truitt leads the Brytan & Associates professional team of IT, HR, coding, legal, & investigative experts who work with owners of dental and medical practices in the US and Canada. They assist those concerned about possible profitability problems due to fraud, embezzlement, waste & abuse. 

Mr. Truitt is a well-known healthcare management speaker for for-profit and nonprofit dental and healthcare professionals as well as legal and law enforcement organizations, and has published white papers on major profitability issues including identification and prevention of fraud, embezzlement, waste and abuse.  He is a Crown Council Mentor this month as he talks to us about protecting our practice assets.

MENTOR 23: Dr. David Penner "Secrets of Making Relationships Work with Patients, Team and Family"

Dr. David Penner is a licensed clinical psychologist and is the Clinical Director of The Gottman Institute. He is the author of the Leader’s Guide for Teaching the Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work, which is based on years of experience teaching John Gottman’s Seven Principles book. He has trained therapists in the Gottman Method in North America, Asia and Europe and is the co-developer of the Gottman Seven Principles Program.

David has practiced for over 30 years as an individual and couples therapist, working in private practice, university, mental health and hospital settings and he is our Crown Council Mentor of the Month.

MENTOR 22: Marcy Schwartzman "20 Things That Have Made Me A Better Dentist"

Dr. Marcy Schwartzman graduated from University of BritishColumbia Dental School in 1984. She continues to practice in a family general dentistry practice that she began from bare walls and no patients. This month she celebrates 30 years of serving great patients and working with a great team. She has been involved in many volunteer opportunities within her community and has served as the International President of the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity in 2013 (only the second woman ever to have done so). She is looking forward toAugust of this year where she will be inducted into the RoyalCollege of Dentistry in St. John’s Newfoundland . She is the mother to two great children, Max and Leatt, and is still having fun every day with her husband Larry even after 32 years. 

MENTOR 21: Barbara Freet "What You Need To Know About New Changes In Employment Law"
